Madrigal Pet Art · Medellín & New York
Hyperrealistic acrylic pet portraits and memorial sculptures by a veterinarian — painted with the care of someone who has held animals through every chapter. In-person delivery available across the NY Metro area.
I’m a veterinarian and anesthesiologist who paints and sculpts the animals I know how to see — bone, soft tissue, the particular way a face settles when they’re at rest. Each piece is hand-made: acrylic on canvas, or polymer clay for a small keepsake you can hold.
If you’re in New York, New Jersey, Westchester, or Long Island, we can arrange an in-person handoff. Colombia commissions stay on their own studio path.
Whether this is a gift, a celebration, or a goodbye, start with a few photos and a sentence about who they are. I’ll reply personally with timing and a quote.
Custom acrylic portraits typically $550–$2,000, depending on size and how many pets. Sculptures and memorials from about $150.
Fifty percent to begin; most pieces take three to six weeks. Sizes are listed in centimeters with US inch equivalents (for example, 30×40 cm is about 12×16 in — not A4).
WhatsApp or email is fine — whatever is easiest. Exact quotes stay personal; this page shows a range only.

Yes. I’m a veterinarian and anesthesiologist. Anatomy I paint is anatomy I’ve worked with — that care is part of the work.
